3 Bedroom House in Dundas, Hamilton

Located in the heart of Dundas, our bright and spacious house boasts all the amenities you expect with initial breakfast items included. At the same time, live like a local by taking advantage of walking downtown for shopping and dinning.
Sonder House comes fully equipped with a king, queen and two twin sized beds, white cotton bed linens, luxurious towels and bath robes with complementary personal care products. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes first morning breakfast and snack items to use at your leisure. The deck off the main bedroom has seating, table, umbrella (in the summer) and gas barbecue.
Dundas is conveniently located half way (45 minutes) between Toronto and Niagara Falls. Only 5 minutes from McMaster University and Children's Hospital. The town itself is surrounded by a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve that features the 890km Bruce Trail and numerous waterfalls.
Downtown Dundas boasts Ontario's best cheese, chocolate, butcher and green grocer shops. Then there are the cafes, restaurants, pubs and the brewery! Cycle with the freewheel crew, take art lessons at the Dundas Valley School of Art and hike on the Bruce Trail. The neighbors are friendly and your host is happy to help you plan and book rentals and reservations.
From the outside, Sonder house looks like a small bungalow, but looks can be deceiving! It's actually a 3400 square foot home. 1600 square feet is the inlaw suite in which my family comfortably lives. It is completely separate with our own entrance. We have access to the back yard and spend a lot of time out there as I LOVE gardening. Our guests do not have access to this garden but have a large balcony off the main bedroom which is completely yours. Please let me know if you are a smoker and I will put ashtrays on this balcony.

Would you like a recommendation for a cafe? May I reserve you a table at one of the local restaurants? Can I pick up the bicycles you've rented so they are here when you arrive? Do you need my services as a Trail angel?

Summary: Wonderful spacious main floor of house. This property is ideal for a family looking for lots of space to relax. Extremely clean, and many extras to make our stay more comfortable--everything from breakfast items to extra toiletries to the beautiful Christmas tree in the dining room. Summary: This location is fantastic! The owner has created a spacious, comfortable and stylish place to stay. There is lots of space including a wonderful balcony off the back master bedroom. The owner is responsive, thoughtful and kind. She provided a 100 small little extras that made the experience so wonderful - from organic fruit and diary, choice of tea and coffee, extra toiletries, lots of pillows and towels, And a TV that is fully connected for any of your streaming services! The beds are very comfortable. The living spaces have lots of places to relax, chat and unwind. A truly wonderful place to stay. You definitely need a car for this property but as long as you have a car it is a great location to explore the Golden Horseshoe with Most amenities in the area within a 1 hour drive (give or take depending on traffic!!). The neighbourhood is lovely and very family friendly - ideal for a family travelling. This is a true Home away from home. Thank you Leanne for your willingness to agree to our special request. It was a lot to ask of you and I so appreciate all of your support! All in all a great weekend and a wonderful experience!!

Summary: We came to the Hamilton area from Michigan because our daughter and her friend went to a concert at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton. This house is in a perfect location for exploring Hamilton and Niagara Falls. The day of the concert we made a trip to Niagara Falls. Afterward, we dropped the kids off at the concert and we found an incredible place for dinner in Hamilton. Our only regret is that the concert was on a Saturday during the school year so we could only stay from Friday evening through Sunday. On Sunday we explored a few waterfalls in Hamilton before heading home. Leanne is a wonderful host. The house is neat and well appointed. There was a dozen eggs, bacon, fresh fruit and other amenities I haven't seen at other VRBO homes I've stayed in. If you are looking for a great place to stay with that is close to a lot of things to do, including Niagara Falls, then Sonder House is the place for you.
